The Surgical Smoke Coalition is a pan-European stakeholder initiative, launched in 2021, addressing the occupational health hazards of surgical smoke exposure in operating rooms. It brings together policymakers, regulators, hospital leaders and medical associations to promote the use of smoke evacuation systems with appropriate filtration.
